  1. I’ve had this bowl from Walmart for quite a while now. It’s been full of water for over 2 months with just some plant trimmings and snails. We recently got this charcuterie board and I had an extra light so I created this… thing. My DIY version of one I’ve seen online that cost $60.

    It’s currently stocked with 5-10 cull red cherry shrimp and a couple ramshorns. I’ll probably get a Nerite snail in the future and add some culls from my blue velvet tank as well.

    Plants are hydrocotyle japan, random Java ferns, some emersed grown ludwigia repens, pearl weed, a very tiny pink flamingo crypt, Java moss, and Amazon frogbit.

  2. Oh wow, love that natural Hardscape. What kind of crypt is that in the front? Like a bronze wendtii? Not the flamingo.
