  1. If that’s anachris and Java fern, they’re water column feeders and don’t need root tabs and do better out of the substrate attached to something.

  2. From my understanding, shrimp, especially of the smaller variety, do better with substrates between 2mm and 5mm. But if this substrate is shrimp specific there might be some information I’m missing.
