Do you need gooseneck? If not, a 12 inch Nicrew C10 ($18ish on Amazon) has been working pretty well for my 5 gallon cube (only had it a few weeks so can’t vouch for longevity).
For a budget option, use any 6500k LED bulb. I have a Chihiros on my main display tank, I think I needed it because of how powerful it was and the tank is very deep. But for my smaller planted tanks I use 6500k lights, bulbs or strips doesn’t matter. The plants grow majestically under them as well.
I use a 60w equivalent LED and an ikea desk lamp for my 5 gallon. it grows plants even lol. I have nice lights for all my other tanks tho and they definitely do a much better job.

Will it work? Probably. Will it look like ass? Absolutely!
I tried this one, spectrum is not what is on the paper, plants were melting. I got Fluval nano from Kijiji which is waaay better.
If it is actually 12 watts then yeah it will work, but it is going to look ugly since the light coming out of it will be red-purple.
