  1. It looks like you have a rock pile set up to give shrimp a hiding place so that’s great. I would just say make sure that the pile is stable and won’t fall if the Danios get rowdy, and maybe add some plants around that rock pile to give the shrimp a whole safe area to hang out and feel safe. It seems like you’re doing a wonderful job getting your habitat shrimp safe to provide a great environment where your critter’s are happy and healthy. As long as your water parameters are safe and stable, I’d say go for it! Congrats!!

  3. As long as the tank is properly cycled it should be ready. Make sure you have the proper carbonate level and Ph for the species you are bringing in. Shrimp are very sensitive to new environments, and younger shrimp are more likely to survive a new tank. I would suggest removing the fish if you want to establish a colony. Its up to the individual fish if they will eat the shrimp, but if it fits in their mouth there is potential they will eat them. Good luck.
