That is a cherry shrimp. The backstripe is a genetic variation, so some shrimp have it and some don’t. Judging from the pictures I would say it’s a female. The way to tell is to look for the saddle (the light spot just behind the head)-> that’s where the eggs form before they are stored under the tail. You can also tell male and female apart by the overall shape of the tail. Females have elongated skirts since they need to protect the eggs, male shrimp tails are a lot slimmer, particularly in the first two thirds after the head.
