I’d do a complete water change, getting as much of the decomposing material out as possible. The filter media I’d rinse with clear tank water and keep it wet so your beneficial bacteria doesn’t die off.
Then I’d refill the tank and get the filter running again. Then test with some ammonia to see that it’s cycling properly before returning the shrimp into the tank and monitoring it.
I have never heard of feeding shrimp banana. How do you “accidentally” leave some in a tank for 7 hours? You gotta do some major water changes. Several over the course of days.
