I use RO for drinking, cleaning, air humidifier, the iron, etc too – it’s very multi-purpose, and by now I’ve spent maybe 2€/month for having them. Replacement filters for my system cost almost nothing and take two minutes to swap once every 6-48 months (depending on use and filter).
