I believe this is just what happens sometimes when a shrimp dies. There’s a red protein that unravels when they die, which gives it a pink hue. Basically, I don’t think it was directly related to the reason your shrimp died.
Yeah they just turn that color when they’ve been dead for a little while, doesn’t have anything to do with the cause of death, just means the death wasn’t super duper recent. Takes from at least a couple hours up to a day from my experience, for Neocaridina that is.

I had one die recently that had similar pink/brown spot. I’m interested to see what people say!
