Again i know shrimp can hide everywhere but i guess the issue is the ones who used to be up front now i never see.
What kind of filtration are you using?
I’ve found shrimp love to climb up the outflow of hang on back filters to crawl inside and munch on the mulm inside the filter. So if you have a HOB, you might find some there.
Maybe try putting some of their favorite food right up by the glass? It’s very possible that some died and were eaten by the others, though.
