From what I gather, it seems like the convulsions you witnessed were your shrimp trying to molt and moving her may have disrupted the process, causing a bad molt. I would also check your levels…especially calcium…to be on the safe side to make sure your other shrimp don’t die from bad molts. It happens to the best of us ☹️ we try to do what’s best for our shrimpies as parents.
Oh and btw, you say “and usually that thing (the ring) takes longer to kill a shrimp” the ring never kills the shrimp. It is only an indication that your shrimp failed to molt, it appears on all molting shrimp.
