I made some a bit back and my boys love ‘em. I used a tablespoon of-
Spirulina
Powdered fish food (I used betta)
Bee pollen
Dried shrimp (powdered.. mortar and pestle)
Calcium powder
Then I sanded some barbecue skewers to get rid of the pointy bits, then I dipped them in egg white, into the powder mix, waited a few, then dipped in egg and back into powder, then after they dried one last layer of egg. Idk if that’s how you’re supposed to do it, but that’s how I made mine and they go absolutely nuts for it.
Next time I prolly won’t add the shrimp because, well, cannibalism is gross. But they love it and it’s all stuff I had around my house so it was basically free
Recipe? Mine enjoy the store bought ones, I gave them a go recently, just ridiculously expensive and if they’re easy to make I always have leftover fruit from my kids…
Fellow shrimp lover, please provide us other shrimp lovers with the necessary knowledge to develop this skill of yours which our shrimps will love as much as your shrimps do.
So, you wanna know how I whipped these up. I’ll tell ya how I whipped em up. First, I proceed to gather my ingredients, which consists of the following: powdered Indian almond leaves, some algae wafers I broke down to powder, I dried a floret of broccoli and powdered it up. 1 egg shell, the white from the egg, an a bit of krill flake. I would dip the skewers into the egg white, not the yoke, and then roll it around in my powdered ingredients and let them air dry. I found that if you let them dry and dip them back into the whites and roll them again they turn out way better. Some folks use the oven to dry, I don’t. Hope that helps.
You can’t dangle these types of drugs in my face and not describe the ingredients
