  1. How much did you change the water in the last few days since your last post? They turn red when they die.

  2. The last pic are molts, not dead shrimp.

  3. Yeah there’s a Lisa dozen bolts everywhere. So you tell me I should do an even longer water change above 40 minutes? Damn

  4. I suggest treating water changes like acclimation. I drip my new water back at a rate of about 2-3 drops per second and it usually takes me 2-3 days to top up my tank. I’ve been doing this for a few years and it never caused me problems just takes a long time so i would just leave it to drip for a few hours then come back.

  5. The red spot is actually the shrimp organs. They turn this color after the shrimp die. It’s not the cause of death.

  6. Looks like it tried to molt and the molt got stuck on it upper half

  7. Looks like the water changes are forcing them to molt and they ended up failing. You can try supplementing iodine like aqua vitro exo and/or calcium.

  8. The last photo is two molts, no dead shrimp there!

  9. Could be rust disease?

  10. Wtf in the first photo it really looks like a little monster parasite clinging onto its insides underneath the exoskeleton 😳 been keeping shrimp for 6 yrs and never seen anything like it.. hope you get some answers!!

Here’s the weirdest thing I’ve seen in my tank, one of my females had a HUGE white blob on her abdomen, when looking down from above at her the white blob could be seen hanging off both sides of her body it was so huge. Viewing her from underneath it definitely appeared to be a couple like 5-6 little pink eggs but surrounded in a huge white blob. I immediately quarantined her in a bowl and gave her fungal meds. Weird thing was about 1 week later later she was completely cured and doing well, she somehow survived the whole ordeal, but nothing fell off her body, the white blob just suddenly disappeared in 1 day? Lol. I came to the conclusion she was carrying a couple straggler infertile eggs that had a serious fungal infection surrounding them. Just weird that the blob and infertile eggs disappeared?? Here’s a pic
