Can somebody clarify shrimp genetics to me it is wild

  1. Many selectively bred animals still carry the genes for their original wild forms. After just a few generations of uncontrolled breeding it’s common to see increasing numbers of wild forms return to a population.

    I’ve read it didn’t take long for larger solid color European horses to become the smaller painted wild horses of the American west.

  2. Snowball shrimp are neocaridina shrimp. The ones people get in all those colors they call skittles packs are also neocaridna. All neocaridina shrimp can crossbreed. Wild type neos are more brownish and occur after more than just one crossbreeding. Looks like a showball?
