If it fits it eats! It is heavily planted but than the shrimp would just hide a lot, the larger shrimp will be safe but any new ones would have a hard time surviving to adults. U could try a bamboo shrimp they are large and cool to look at as they filter feed, and as long as that ph swing isn’t happening super fast they will be fine
