Theres definitely more, they’re sensitive to light. I’d try leaving lights out for a day so they come out of the substrate and then vacuum the gravel (obviously watching out for the shrimpies). I recently had scuds in our shrimp tank and it got bad enough we replaced the substrate entirely :/
is that a scud? Those things will eventually out-compete your neocaradina shrimp if its a shrimp only tank.
