  1. Just to set it in stone, since you can see orange markings on the antennae/claws/tail of these little guys, they are *Palaemonetes paludosus*, eastern grass shrimp. They are generally peaceful but opportunistic omnivores, so they won’t attack other living animals but absolutely pick at dead or dying tankmates.

  2. Yep those are just ghosts. Whisker shrimp have larger claws. Are bigger and more aggressive. Ghosts shouldn’t be really aggressive, and usually only pick at dead/dying tank mates.

  3. From what you’re saying they sound like they might be Whisker shrimp, but I do not know much about them other than they are very aggressive. Also Whisker and Ghost shrimp are often confused.

  4. Yep! Those are ghost shrimp! They are neocardina but they are very active babies!
