So I just got some cherry shrimp for my ten gallon and today I noticed some of the shrimp are running around the tank. I know this can be because of poor water parameters but I found a molt from what I think was a saddled female. How likely is it that this behavior is due to mating pheromones vs water quality? I plan on doing my weekly water change tomorrow either way.
