Here’s a little video of a shrimp that was badly infested with ellobiopsidae. I didn’t think to photograph it. Following the advice of someone with a fish blog, I prepared a salt solution: one tablespoon of reef salt in 2 cups of aged tank water. I put the shrimp in the solution for 4 minutes. While that was happening, I cleaned the little hospital container thoroughly and replaced his water. The shrimp is in there with a plant, an airline, and fresh food daily. It has taken about a week. No visible progress for the first few days, then 2 days ago it seemed like the organism had changed color. Yesterday it seems like there was more brown crud at the bottom of the container. And this morning? I think it’s gone. I’ll continue the treatments a little longer, though.
