Buddy this is a shrimp heaven they are loving every second of this tangled root forest, I wouldn’t change a thing.
Fish don’t care for aesthetics, /r/plantedtank is a monument to man’s arrogance.
They’ll probably die off soon anyway, they grow those mad roots when they’ve exhausted much of the mineral nutrients in the water and then they all die if they’re not replaced.
Salvinia minima has short roots. And there’s always duckweed.
How long have you had it?
You can just cut the roots short n throw some away
