  1. Bruh, the first sink

  2. Mine did this before it passed. Usually a sign of molting issues or trying to molt.

  3. Weird suggestion, but try adding an airstone if you don’t already have one. I lost some shrimplets that were doing this and my best guess at what happened is that I added too much bacter ae to my VERY tiny tank and it used up too much of the oxygen. Long shot, but it can’t hurt 🤷‍♀️

  4. I’d make a very large water change immediately, make sure it’s treated. There’s clearly something bad in the water. Start ruling things out if your tank is fully cycled and your general parameters are fine. Meaning temp, ph, ammonia, nitrite, nitrates. Although to be honest, even if you had traces of those in the tank, the shrimp don’t act up like this. I’d also rule out acclimation as a reason for this behavior. Acclimating usually has very little effect, despite popular belief.

This behavior looks like there’s something in the water that’s toxic to them. What additives have you added, if any?
Try adding purigen into the filter to cleanse the tank if it’s not too late.

    Best of luck.

  5. I don’t have any good explanation. Mine did that too once and they’re alive, so that’s good. But. Skrimp go *weeeee*

  6. My shrimp did this when I added untreated water into the tank. It wasn’t much but still I could tell they did not like it because of how twitchy they became. None of them died, but I could tell it definitely affected them. I’m not sure if that’s what happened here, but if it’s something similar I would definitely slowly add water to the current environment so that they can acclimate. I’m not sure what you can do now except measure your water parameters to make sure that they’re all within range, or the range that they were previously acclimated to.

Hope they turn out okay, they’re super cute!!

  7. Did you cycle the tank? Like 4-6 weeks?
