  1. Adjust co2 to 30+ ppm and aim for a 1pt pH drop first. Then look into a liquid fert maybe something like thrive+ all in one or EI. Start dosing it 2-3 times weekly and start doing weekly water changes of atleast 50%. Now with your ferts and co2 dialed in, the only thing left for you to adjust is your lighting. Aim for 8 hour photoperiod and lower the intensity/duration if you see algae progress. Use excel and spot treat with a syringe and make sure your filters are off for like 15 mins during. Bba and staghorn will turn pink/red/white if excel is successful and they will go away. Your main focus and goal is to grow the healthiest plants you possibly can, this will actually help prevent algae.
