I’ve added amano to tanks three times. Each time it was at least a week until I saw them again, and 2-3 weeks until they were comfortable enough to be out and about regularly.
Your shrimp are behaving normally.
Amano are very shy in a new tank. It will take 2-3 weeks before they start to come out
